High Point Preserve is a 45 14 lot subdivision approximately 1 mile inland from the Atlantic Ocean near Bethany Beach, Delaware. The flat topography and shallow water table presented significant challenges in meeting the Delaware Sediment and Stormwater Regulations. Axiom Engineering prepared a hydrodynamic watershed study and proposed land efficient BMPs to satisfy the regulations and avoid the loss of 3 residential lots indicated by conventional methodology.
