Axiom Engineering assisted Donovan’s Painting and Drywall attorney with zoning entitlements for their corporate office near Lewes, Delaware. Upon land use approval, the site required DelDOT entrance plan approval and a detailed sediment and stormwater plan.
Kings Landing Business Park is home to the Dewey Beer Micro-brewery. The commercial business park also includes the Pizza Machine take out and a variety of contractor office spaces.
Axiom Engineering had worked on the adjacent Sussex County Wetland Mitigation Bank prior to designing this expansion to an existing self storage facility. Through coordination with the Sussex County Engineering Department and the Sussex Conservation District, Axiom Engineering successfully negotiated a reduced footprint for the mini-storage stormwater management BMP to increase water recharge into the existing Wetland Mitigation Bank, benefiting the environment and both projects.
The Splash Laundromat is located in the Town of Georgetown’s Downtown Development District. With the assistance of the construction managers at Tidemark Construction, the project was submitted to the State’s DDD Grant Funding program and received reimbursement for 20% of the hard costs associated with the construction of the project
Panera Bread was a pad site developed that exceeded the impervious cover established in the shopping center stormwater management system. Axiom Engineering provided a simple solution that met the requirements of the state regulations without a re-design or expansion of the shopping center's central stormwater management system.
The lands of the Lewes Meineke were zoned Agricultural Residential (AR-1) when acquired by the project developer. Axiom Engineering provided exhibits and testimony during the rezoning hearings, and assisted the zoning attorney to establish a public record sufficient to rezone the properties to Commercial Residential (CR-1). Upon successful rezoning, construction plans were prepared including utilities, entrance and stormwater management.
